Dukes Coffee House

This review is focused more on the staff rather than the food at Dukes. Despite being a fan of the restaurant and enjoying their soup, the reviewer had a shocking experience in the restroom. After a nice meal on a Friday afternoon, they had to use the toilet which was messy and not properly cleaned. Despite there being bleach available, the staff member did not bother cleaning up after themselves. The reviewer was left disgusted and concerned about the lack of hygiene practices, and it has made them hesitant to return to the restaurant in the future.

The staff at this restaurant were lovely and the cream tea was delicious. It was reasonably priced and the location was perfect for sitting and people-watching. There is both outdoor and indoor seating available, as well as a to-go option. The restaurant was much larger than it initially appeared, but this did not impact the quality of service.

I had an unforgettable experience at Dukes House Cafe. The soup I ordered was delicious and the garlic baguette served with it was also highly recommended. The service was quick and the staff were attentive, polite, and always ready to help with any questions. I will definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you, Dukes House Cafe!

This place is on the edge of the market area and convenient for food and drinks. The prices are fair and we enjoyed a coffee and cake, sitting in the sun.

We were lucky to get a seat inside. Lots of outside space but too cold for that. Excellent well priced burgers for lunch. Friendly service.
