Duke's Country Pub

on July 24, 2017 at 3:00 pm my husband and I went to Dukes and have been doing so for 15 years off and on. It was his birthday and we had dinner, drinks and I was playing pull tabs. We had our dinner and I was continuing to play pull tabs and order another a drink. But I went to the bar to cash in my winnings and the waitress gave me a ripped five dollar bill. The pull tab machine would not accept it. I asked her for another and she refused as she said lottery is not my priority. She gave me the bad bill and knew that I was playing and knew it wouldn't work. (it wasn't her first rodeo) I asked her a second time and she refused to give me another bill or change. We just caught a glance at the sign on the highway, and as it was lunchtime, we followed it. The first impression was a large parking lot with vintage cars and gleaming Harley bikes. Inside it is - well - just a pub, but as it was quite a warm day, we went out to the verandah. Only when we sat down at one of the large tables we noticed smoking was allowed here! This looked shockingly unlawful to me, lol, and I wished we had time for me to smoke a cigar! As we were not terribly hungry, my wife chose half of a Greek Salad that proved to be more than enough and I had quesadillas with ground beef. The stuffing of the tortillas was spicy and really delicious and the salad was very fresh, dressed...

What an amazing place!! Saturday night we stopped in for a bite to eat and there was a fundraiser going on. It was for a good cause so we decided to stay - and got a FANTASTIC roast beef dinner for $15 each! (LOL watch out for the horseradish - its HOT!) We ended up staying for the evening and there was even a staff member who was giving rides home free of charge (tips only). So ALL event goers got home safely! A great place to go hang out with friends - and make new ones!

Dukes is our local watering hole the food is always great and drinks always cold, the service is fantastic the girls that work at dukes really do work hard...Dukes always has the best Halloween party too and don't forget about their safe ride home program, we have used this a few times Thanks Dukes for being a great local spot for us that is always our go to

We stop here on occasion when we're in the area and hungry. We were out for a ride recently and stopped for lunch. This is true pub food, I had the daily special - steak with prawns, fries and salad. A good neighborhood pub, Duke's continues to be a good stopover choice.

Great place to ride the motorcycle too and enjoy good food and drink. Good value at a nice secluded pub to kick back and rest.

Large draft selection. Good menu lots of different types. Excellent butter chicken. Beef dip is great also. Fajita are fine...
