I visited this restaurant in the summer and had a fantastic experience. Knowing I would be back in October for a conference, I was eager to return. When I arrived at 5:30 without a reservation, the manager informed me that I could either sit at the bar or at a 2-person table, but the table had a reservation for 7. Despite the early hour, it seemed like the staff was concerned about seating us. The food was average at best. We ordered fried green tomatoes and requested them plain with the sauce on the side. I had a very impressive dinner at the Springhill stand last night. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the homemade Caesar dressing was delicious. I usually find cajun pasta dishes to be common and simple, but Dumbwaiters' cajun pasta dish was something special. It was perfect! The only downside for me was that the Caesar salad was not as dressed as I prefer, but it was still good. The staff was friendly and professional. I will definitely be returning.

The customer brought their dog to the restaurant directly to the table. The key factor is that the dog was seen after their table finished eating. If it was served, a dog is one thing. We had an excellent experience at DUMBWAITER with their Mega pork chops. The wait staff was fantastic and the dessert was also delicious. It was definitely a great pit stop for me and my family. I have to admit that I thought this restaurant was just okay. The food was decent but nothing exceptional. I ordered the Chopped Steak, which had good flavor but was overcooked. I had high hopes for the bread pudding dessert, but it was also just average. It's possible that we just came on an off night.

The service at this establishment is horrible. We had 8 pm reservations and waited for food until 9:45 pm. I speaking with the manager, he reminded us that though we arrived at 8 pm, we didn't order at 8 pm. The food arrived lukewarm and charred. I WILL NOT return to this establishment.

I absolutely adored the atmosphere, the food, and the service at this restaurant. It is definitely worth the one-hour drive from Pensacola and is truly something special that you will want to tell your friends and family about!
