honored by friendly waitress / host (owner)? who will give us all the needs and even in a few extras (surprises) free of charge! if they want to eat cozy, hearty Eastern European food, this is quality and oh young the quantity! in any case bang for their buck hopefully this place does not go out of the business for how generous they are! as nice ambiente as when I was transported directly to Europe! on Sunday evening we were the only ones in the restaurant, so it was timely and the glasses were always filled.

as a German almost a natural knower of schnitzel and latezle, I can only recommend this place. you could really see that his chef, paul, lived in Central Europe and tried to create an honest, traditional, culinary experience. not only eating the restaurants, but the warm personal and romantic furniture that are rounded off by classical music, they teleport somewhere between Austria, Germany and Hungary. By the way, they should not miss the multi-layered honey cake called medovik yuumm.

Loved our meal here. We did take away, they prepared our meal very fast, which was great because the smells in this restaurant made us so hungry! We got the minced pork perogies and schnitzel with a side of spaetzle and braised red cabbage! Massive portions! The schnitzel was so thin and tender, next time we'll get a spaetzle as a main course rather than a side, it was delicious. Everything was so fresh and tasty and the owners are very kind. We will certainly be back!!

The meal was tasteless and the schnitzel was way over cooked and dry. We decided to order the Jäeger sauce to help with the flavour and dryness but it tested like a bowl of bovril with floating soggy mushrooms in it. Also the restaurant has no Liquor licence. What a great place!!! My first impression was: looks and smells like my home country Russia. Food is fantastic, pelmeni like I ate when I was a child, and honey cake was a perfection. You don’t feel like you visited a restaurant, you feel like you visited your family Definitely will come again.

eating was amazing! we ordered the carving and it was so delicious. also they are huge! 1 carving can easily feed 2 people. everything we ordered was super fresh. the people who work there are really nice. they answered our questions and helped with the menu. absolutely a lot is ordered here!

Had such a lovely evening dining here! The food was wholesome and delicious, and our hostess was so incredibly warm. The chef came to thank us after our meal as well we felt so welcomed :) will be back again and again

Not matter what you order it will be delicious, we have done take out 3 times and have never been disappointed. Great schnitzel, goulash, cabbage rolls and speatzle all mains were tasty! Reserva una mesa ahora

the best scavenger I ever had reminds me of the house of my mother cooked eating. highly recommended if they are looking for authentic German/Polish food in the region ottawa.

High quality, amazing food and impeccable service. I highly recommend this restaurant! we love the schnitzel with spaetzle and creamy coleslaw.
