Stop for Donuts. Yeah, I will. But I can't stop for a second time when the donuts are a failure. Not to fear Dunk 'n Run Donuts in Auburn, CA, is a hit. Darn delicious donuts, the prices are the going rate, and friendly staff. I went to Garden Valley Highway and I looked at the shop sign. I saw the word Donut and cryed like Homer Simpson into a donut trance. D 'oh Donuts! I made a U-change to the backtrack to the shop. Although it was past the posted operating hours, the neon open sign was still flashing. Customers were still in n out. The young woman working on the counter was welcoming. Very patient with everyone and not penetrated. Great customer service! There were not many raised donuts. So I landed on four different types of cake donuts. Great looking... all sitting pretty. They were the best cakes of donuts I've eaten for a long time. Density, interior. Delicious! Fresh tasting. Icing was perfect. Not sticky. It's not hard for a bite to crack. Perfect consistency, plus not too sweet. Another cool thing about the store is the interior. It has old bones. You have an old fashion diner counter and swivel chairs to eat. Partitur! The donuts are held in a glass box and in baskets on an open shelf. If you're hanging for a donut and are in the area, fall in.

Not worth the price. I bought half a dozen donuts. Two bars, one fritter, one jelly and two glazed and paid over $16 because they charged me for half a dozen and then tacked on for each donut. Went to another local bakery and bought four bars, a cinnamon twist and glazed and paid under $10 and they tasted way better. Don’t plan on coming back.

On Sunday morning a few donuts. I'm not coming by. The donuts you could say were day old. Dry.... also cold. Like they used to be in the icebox. I'm going to a donut shop I want a fresh donut and these were definitely not fresh and ice cold... I'm sorry, but I don't like a fresh donut...
