I'm sharing this to clarify something that happened last night when I bought three donuts just before 10 p.m. I ordered a sprinkle donut, a Boston cream donut, and a chocolate glazed donut, which totaled $6.37 — that's $2.12 per donut, including tax. I understand that inflation has made prices go up, but I assumed a single donut would be around 99 cents, and without tax, it would be about $1.12. This seemed like an excessive increase.
While $6.37 isn't a huge amount, it's a bit steep for three donuts. If that price is accurate and I've misunderstood something, I sincerely apologize for the confusion!
Not sure if it’s under new management, but it has new staff now and quality and service has diminished. This used to be my favorite DD to go to, but now I’m never going there again. The lady that works there could not make a caramel macchiato. I asked for a caramel macchiato with extra sugar and she basically gave me a cup of milk with no sugar. When I brought it to her attention she wanted to argue with me instead of just fixing the order she screwed up. The guy had to step in and try to fix drink. I ended up throwing it out and having to go to another DD and pay for another. Horrible service!!
Whoever invented (or discovered) the Boston cream donut deserves a big thank you for this delicious, comforting treat. You can enjoy it on-site or take it to go at this reliable Dunkin’ location. I personally like to buy two Boston creams and a black coffee, then settle into their parking space, which offers a lively view of the NYC skyline. The parking lot has around 12 spots on the ground floor, and when you look up, you’re rewarded with a stunning view of NYC over the Hudson River.
Sandwiches and dining options were unavailable 45 minutes before closing. After purchasing a donut, the bathroom was also closed, supposedly because it had just been cleaned, according to an employee. I’d suggest trying another Dunkin. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
