Dutchman's Hidden Valley

We spotted this establishment from the Hwy. Decided we would stop and grab a bit to eat. Very good food, I ordered the Reuben sandwich, my husband also ordered a sandwich, and we both ordered the Bison Chili. All of the food we ordered was delicious. Glad we stopped it. Then afterward we decided to take a look thru the general store to see what we might find. They have a nice inventory of items, I bought 2 different lotions. How lucky are the locals to have such a nice business in their area. Before I forget all the employees are very friendly and helpful.

Very cool store just north of Hamilton. We were out for a Sunday drive and hitting a few geocaches nearby when I saw this place on the map and decided to drop by. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a restaurant and lots of delicious goodies to eat. We left with some fudge, some cookies, and a peanut patty. I highly recommend stopping here!

Dutchman's is a wonderful place to stop on 281 north, towards DFW south to San Antonio. Buffalo jerky, taffy and a smorgasbord of sandwiches make this place a certain stop. They are only closed on Wednesday, so stop in and through the variety of rooms.

This has been a family favorite for years. The staff is very friendly and the sandwiches are really delicious. This is a perfect stop on your road trip.
