Dynasty Restaurant

We have eaten here many times over the years. We have never had a bad meal, but have never had a great meal. Their egg rolls are always top notch. The chicken fried rice is usually good, though sometimes the chicken is dried and tough....The chicken balls are mostly good with fluffy crispy batter, but when they are off they are bad. Tough grizzly chicken and/ or mostly dough. The spare ribs are always bad though. Tough and hard, and barely edible. Can never figure out how they get them so wrong. There may be the odd time they are good, but not many.I have stopped getting them at all. Their specialty dishes are for the most part good, but only just. I’ve eaten at many “canadian” Chinese food spots in PEI and Vancouver, BC as well. The Dynasty by far is the best. I find their sweet and sour chicken balls to be so good, and their egg rolls are to die for! Every time I...come to visit PEI now I go here! I prefer to eat in over take out, just because the food comes out relatively fast, and it’s nice and hot. And the plum sauce is soooo delicious!

Got the combination plate, the chicken balls were extremely tough and grizzly with over thick batter and just ok sauce. The fried rice was bland. Egg roll was good. Have eaten at many Chinese restaurant but this was definitely not a good experience. Wait staff...was friendly. Bathroom had a dirty old rusty heater right by the toilet- will never go back.

We were passing through and agreed that Chinese food sounded like a good dinner option. The menu had traditional Chinese food dishes as well as home cooked Canadian food. Great family vibe with friendly service. The price for two dishes with no beverage was served generous portions and we both rated the quality of the food at average.

Stopped for lunch. Had sweet and sour chicken came with egg roll, fried rice. Chicken was deep fried ball of white chicken with red sweet sour sauce. Chicken was tough and dry. Partner had same dish with ribs. Same experience, nothing positive to say except...waitstaff was pleasant. Don’t waste money here.

My step daughter and I stopped in as we were craving Chinese.thiught it can’t be too bad. I was wrong the rice had nothing but some pcs of chicken in it, chicken balls were mostly dough, and the Cantonese chow main at dollars was...a total rip off. Not recommended and will never go again

We have eaten in many Chinese Food Restaurants, Authentic Chinese, and what I refer to as Canadian Chinese. This restaurant is Canadian Chinese and at that mediocre. I would eat here, but wouldn't be my first choice, not in the top

Prompt polite service and good food. Order is always ready, meals always consistent. Order here once or twice a month usually. Lots of parking too.

disapointing with mashed potatoes are hard and no free refills of drinks wich should have free pop refills but dont have wich not good

Food is not great, but the staff was friendly. The chef should go to other restaurants and see how to cook rice. Blah
