Earls Kitchen + Bar - Sherwood Park

I am so torn with Earls. I've been eating with this chain for easily 25 years. It's probably more but I don't need to feel that old.Food: Decent/Good. Listen, the food has always been pretty good and fairly consistent, but they have gotten so over priced. I typically only eat off the feature menu, simply because its a break from the same old stuff. The feature menu usually has lovely little meals and treats. I just find there are other restaurants that do similar food better and at better pricing, or where the high price makes sense because the quality is that noticeable.Service: Lackluster. There is absolutely a difference between Pre/Post Covid. It seems like there is really high turnover...

We waited for 14 minutes before a inexperienced waiter finally came to take our order, and then proceeded to take my husband's order before mine. He had trouble inputting the order into his tablet. The Cajun Sandwich was disappointing, with very little meat and only a few cheap fries. The half order of ribs was not worth the steep price of $30.75. The waiter never returned to offer us more drinks or dessert. An $11.50 beer seemed unreasonable. Overall, a sandwich, half order of ribs, 5 oz house wine, and a beer is not worth $78.23 plus a 15% tip.

The food was great, as usual, however my 11 year old nephew ordered a burger with lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mustard. It arrived with no ketchup or mustard. Our server was nowhere to be seen for several minutes so we asked someone who was bussing tables if we could get some mustard and ketchup on the side as there was none on the burger. Several minutes later, the manager came to our table and wanted to see the bun for herself which was very weird and kind of offensive! All we wanted was ketchup and mustard not a whole production!

Always good food and a good dining experience! On my last visit we had a little incident (that was nobody's fault at all) and the manager, who just happened to be working her very first shift as manager, handled it with perfection! As someone who worked in the service industry for many years, I was incredibly impressed with how everything was handled and was beyond satisfied and even impressed!I definitely recommend their gnocchi! Have been a long time regular to this location since it opened >25years. First time the servce was so inconsistent and poor. Food orders were wrong. Food qualty was mediocre. We thought of dessert but waited >30min to get servers attention so just paid and left. Also booth seating in loungeis worn and split and needs replacing. Bad form Earls. Unfortunately dissapointing experience. Not sure if I will continue mylong patronage.

We always love earls in sherwood park, great night out with family. I had the surf and turf which I will be back for! Boyfriend said the burger was the best he's has in a long time. Plus the hockey game was on so we got a great table in the lounge to watch it!

Our waiter was exceptional! She suggested trying the special eggnog and it was delicious according to the guys at our table. The Kung Pao was cooked to perfection. We definitely plan on returning and hope to be seated in one of the elegant booths next time.

The crab cake benedict was very flavourful. However, the potatoes that came with were awful. Either over cooked or raw. Hold the potatoes!

The food was subpar. I ordered the poke bowl, but the mangoes were not ripe and the rice was dry.
