The outside terrace was full so we sat in the lounge. The avacado toast appetizer had a nice bit of spice to it, (just siracha I think) but yet it seemed plain somehow. It was good but I probably wouldn't order again. The salmon seemed like a small piece, however it was cooked perfectly. The rice was good and the green beans were crunchy. Well, it was my birthday and we had a gift card for $75 so the three of us trouped off to Earl's to check it out. Slow night in the lounge, very empty so you would think the service would be great. We found the waitress a little snooty, I guess she doesn't like serving people in the 50 age group. Too bad, we have the money. As soon as we did not want another round of drinks, she quit coming to the table. For three burgers and two beers we paid $75. Not sure what you think, but I think that is expensive. Disappointing experience as Earls has always been one of our favourite go to spots but it just seems to be going downhill. Dynamite Rolls are not even close to as good as they used to be and were served falling apart and hardly any filling. Then ordered the garlic fries (which is hard to get wrong) and they were super greasy, only got the bits and pieces and had no flavour. Server felt really bad and we were ready to eat our main meal elsewhere but decided to stay and give them one more chance. I would recommend avoiding this particular location of Earls. I have received excellent service at other Earls restaurants in the past, but my experience here was quite disappointing. After waiting for over 10 minutes to be greeted by our server, both of our orders were incorrect and were served without any cutlery. We had to flag down our server, who had passed by our table without performing a quality check. As someone who works in the service industry, I was surprised by the lack of attention to detail and the absence of a manager to address our concerns or provide a solution. Ultimately, we ended up just accepting the mistakes and eating our meals as they were served.

Terrible service. Order wrong, twice! Kitchen screwed up, bar screwed up, table cleared after being finished meal 20 mins and then wait another 20 mins for a bill I don't want to pay. My client not happy, I'm not happy, way to go! Never again Earls, I'm not going to cross your doorstep even if you're giving it away.This isn't my first bad experience at an Earls. Seems to be this corporate outfit does not care about quality. Two other locations in other cities and pretty much same outcome. Call me a slow learner but I think I might know now, don't go!
Service was extremely slow to be seated even though tables were available, cleaned and set up. Waitress forgot multiple things and took her time when she did remember. Food was unseasoned and not typical for what I'm used to getting served at other Earls locations. I am a fan of Earls' food, but not this location. Requested salt and pepper and it was not delivered. All and all...felt unwelcome, food was underwhelming. Go across the street to Moxie's and save yourself the trouble.
Our group of 4 sat outside on the patio - we enjoyed the heat lamps and pillows/blankets available. Huge umbrellas protected us from a sprinkling of rain. We loved having our drinks and food in the fresh air outside. Earl's food is freshly made and is so much tastier than the boxed/reheated menu items that other restaurants offer. I recommend the meat pizza, chicken wontons, bacon cheddar burger, chicken Hunan king poa, and quinoa power bowl salad.
Four of us went to Earls, Macleod Trail for supper. Service was good. There was a good selection on the menu and everyone found something that they enjoyed. The food was tasty. It was relatively quiet and we were able to talk to our guests. Our gluten intolerant guest was able to find a gluten free meal that they enjoyed. There is on-site parking.We will return.

Waking into the patio was a Wow. It is beautiful; large umbrellas, lots of potted flowers, patio furniture and tables, heating pits and upper propane heaters.
