The hash browns were prepared casserole-style, meaning they lacked any crispiness. They tasted okay, but again, there wasn’t enough gravy to make them more enjoyable. We were seated near the kitchen and had a front-row seat to a cook belting out opera-style vocals at full volume. While I appreciate the enthusiasm for their job, it felt more like a performance than a breakfast, and it was a bit much for me. My waiter was rather inattentive; he smiled but didn’t really engage with me. Thankfully, other staff members stepped in to help, so I’m grateful for that. I typically tip based on service, and since he didn’t provide any, I guess I saved myself the $12 I would have usually tipped on a $5...

Don't get me wrong, this place has a fantastic atmosphere, was very busy, and served excellent coffee. However, I did have some issues with the flavor of the food. I ordered a Bloody Mary and a massive breakfast burrito, but overall the food was quite bland. While the presentation was stunning, it was deceiving. If you're more interested in quantity than in delicious, mouth-watering flavors, then this spot is for you. Additionally, both my wife and I felt unwell just 15 minutes after eating here, which certainly wasn’t pleasant.

We had a great brunch on Sunday! The two servers that waited on our group (we ended up with 12 because of a friend emergency) we’re out of this world good. Main server talked with all of the kids (6 between the ages of 3 13), orders were perfect, and I don’t think my coffee cup ever went below half full. I've rarely had this type of experience when a place was half full, let alone at the peak of their rush. Well done, Early Bird. We will definitely be back!

Wait can be really long for a weekend brunch. Put your name in line on Yelp and you will get notified when you should arrive. Service was very nice and friendly. Everything we ordered was really awesome and prices are fair. The breakfast cocktails are a refreshing option to the standard mimosa's and much welcomed. Reserva una mesa ahora

Second time to eat here for my sister and I. First time for our parents. We were all thrilled with our choices. Only thing, my sister ordered WELL DONE, CRISPY bacon both times, and it wasn't, either time. The hash holes and Cinny-Bobs are DELICIOUS!

The best brunch in Des Moines hands down. Try the orange booziest. Never had a bad meal here. Check into their waitlist on yelp as they are almost always busy….
