AVOID THIS PLACE!!! This is easily the worst and most overpriced Chinese buffet I've ever experienced. My son ended up eating only lo mein, and even that didn't appeal to him because everything else was unappetizing, yet he was charged the adult price. Every item I tried was either soggy or tough, clearly past its prime. When I tried to discuss this with the Asian gentleman, he simply insisted that the price would not change, swiped my card, and walked away. It’s outrageous to pay $32 for my son and me to leave mostly uneaten food. The atmosphere is dark and outdated, with only three tables of food that look dull and uninviting. Alright, let's talk about the food. Every time I visit this restaurant, I enjoy delicious meals, and the service is consistently excellent! I've never been disappointed during my numerous visits. It has always been my favorite dining spot in Trussville. However, I wrote this review a few months ago, and I’m not sure what changed, but the quality of the food has declined.

The restaurant may not have the best appearance, but the food is genuinely outstanding! They consistently serve fresh, hot dishes, and the soup is excellent. I have no complaints about the food at all. The family that runs the place is incredibly kind and friendly. If you've visited before, I recommend giving it another shot! We were very pleasantly surprised.

The BEST Chinese buffet with sushi!!!. Tonight was our first visit to East Buffet, and we will definitely be going back! Very fresh, hot Chinese food on the buffet AND the best sushi, also! This place had the best sushi I have ever seen on a buffet. I even tipped the sushi chef when I left. Looked great and tasted A-mazing! Definitely check this place out.

This place is fantastic for Sunday lunch, but it falls short in the evenings when there are fewer customers and the food tends to get stale. Charging $7 for a meal for a 3-year-old seems excessive, especially since there are no signs indicating the cost of children's meals.

My sister and I dined here last Saturday. We were impressed with the quick service, the great variety of food options, and the reasonable prices. We definitely plan to return!

This place was fantastic! A young staff member seated us and served our drinks, and he was incredibly friendly. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious.
