We stopped at East Cove Restaurant for dinner reservations, while vacationing from NYC. We were pleasantly surprised East Cove offered indoor dining, while observing COVID-19's social distancing. Our meal was well presented with generous portions and above all; aged, sizzling hot and savoured. For appetizers we had: Shrimp Cocktail (more like large, tasty prawns), Crab Cake with classic remoulade and citrus salad. For our main meal we ordered: Salmon Fra Diavolo with spicy pepper beurre blanc and house risotto, Surf and Turf Baked Lobster Tail with garlic scampi sauce and In House, Dry-Aged, Kansas City Steak Cuts, well rounded with Red Wine Sangria. Outstandingly amazing food. Excellent service. Not just the best meal in Lake George, one of the best meals you will have. The steaks are excellent, although more than once we found the large porterhouse cooked a little too under in the middle. But there was so much, we just ate around the too rare pieces. The appetizers are delicious, especially that poutine. And the wait staff is extremely friendly. We had a bit of an issue in 2020 with a staffer and their mask, including coughing with no mask on while putting our utensils out, but we were so impressed with the food, we came back multiple times in 2021 and found both staff following pandemic guidelines better, and outstanding food.
I genuinely can’t comprehend how this place has a 4.1 rating—it absolutely deserves a solid 5 stars! The atmosphere is wonderfully cozy, and the service is exceptional. And the food? Just incredible! Everything that came to our table, from the specialty drinks and appetizers to the entrées (which you can see in the photos), was outstanding. The appetizers were so delicious that we forgot to take pictures of them! If you find yourself in the Lake George area and are in search of a fantastic meal, you have to check out East Cove! We will certainly be returning every time we’re in town.
The difference between having a steak and going to a STEAK HOUSE. The cut if beef is beyond compare. The preparation is absolutely perfect. The presentation for this area, is skin to a large market line NYC or Boston. The service was excellent, and considering all if the above mentioned is well affordable. This place was an all around 10

The atmosphere is charming, and the food quality is outstanding. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. However, it’s worth noting that they do not serve any alcohol at the moment.
I highly recommend this restaurant! It's a must-visit! The scallops with bacon are incredible, and all the fish specialties are fantastic.
The food is amazing, the ambiance is inviting, and the prices are affordable. I've returned many times since my initial visit.
I will never return to this restaurant. The food was inedible, and nothing was enjoyable for dinner.
