I was passing through Kenora, and was gassing up at the Husky when my family got hungry and wanted lunch. We decided to have lunch at the East End Cafe.We discovered in was owned by an Objiway couple (I am also Ojibway as well) and they served bannock burgers, and Indian tacos, in addition to regular homespun meals. A bannock burger is a burger served in a piece of bannock, and is usually served at a bannock burger truck at a powwow. It is usually deep fried and the burger is inserted in between. My husband and i went there for breakfast with our kids. Very quick service, our food was brought out almost immediately after we ordered. Our food was ice cold! Tasted like they pre made a bunch of everything off the menu and just let it sit back there until someone ordered it. It was definitely not made at the time we ordered it. It would of been a good price, if it came with a HOT meal.. We won't be going back.

We stopped into this restaurant for breakfast on a whim. The menu had lots to offer but I spotted what I wanted right away. We we both very happy with our meals - both plates had tons of food, cooked perfectly, and everything was really tasty. We decided that East End will be our new go-to spot for breakfast - it was that good!

My brother and I stopped here for breakfast while on a fishing trip. We both agreed the food was OK, we had eggs & sausage & coffee & has browns. Service was OK, but not very friendly. When we paid the bill wqe only had U.S, Currency, they charged us par, dollar for dollar, even though the exchange rate was 1.28 Reserva una mesa ahora

The restaurant offers typical diner food with fast and friendly service. The food was served quickly and hot. The establishment looks a bit old. Prices are fair. The Native artwork on the walls was unique and worth mentioning.

Home cooked meal at fast food prices. Good sized portions and fast, friendly service. Inside is clean and comfy, unexpected from the appearance of the exterior.
