Two of us arrived at 10pm on Friday evening without a reservation and the staff were happy to serve us. We’d already walked past three curry houses in the town centre with no customers, but this place still had people in which I think must be testament to their reputation. Service was good and friendly, and we never felt rushed. Poppadoms fresh and addictive, king prawn puri and lamb chop tikka starters both really tasty. Fish curry (madras? and chicken dansak for mains, boiled rice and a really soft fresh peshwari naan. I had a truly enjoyable experience at the restaurant. I dined in for dinner, with my meal costing between £20 and £30 per person. The food was rated 4 out of 5, and the service also received a 4. The atmosphere was pleasant and earned a score of 4 as well. I highly recommend trying the curry!
