As the equivalent to a local version of Denny 's, Eat 'n Park is a really nice sit-down restaurant with a nice throwback quality to it. The food is vast in its selection, they had a serve yourself salad bar, and the deserts feature copious amounts of ice cream and a real over the top flare. I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant, primarily due to our server, who I believe was named AJ. She seemed to have a negative attitude and often complained about her job, suggesting that our presence was part of the problem. She rushed us through every decision we had to make and took an unusually long time to bring out our food and drinks. Although she mentioned that we were her only table, I couldn't understand why the service was so slow. When our food finally arrived, it was cold. The server was friendly and attentive, but unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. It was quite salty with little flavor. I ordered a hamburger that was described as consisting of two 4-ounce patties, but it was hardly thicker than my phone and case. For $10, it came with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and cheese, but there were no sides included. I opted for the salad bar and had iced tea, but the soup was also very salty. My total came to $18.65 before tip. If you're looking for a better meal, I recommend heading to New City Buffet by the mall—lunch is $12 and dinner is $18, and I had a fantastic experience there during my first visit. I won't be returning here again.

We stopped for early dinner on a Saturday night with 6 people, including elderly parents that have walkers. Due to having a short staff, they would not seat us for dinner. They took 20 other people ahead of us. The servers did not want to work a table with 6 people. I have not seen that before, where the wait staff dictates number of customers. Salad bar was sad! Rotten fruit and limp veggies were a disappointment. Salad dressing was not marked properly. At least the potato soup was good! Salad bar attendant looked disgruntled but our waitress was friendly and accommodating. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
