Ebersberger Alm - Reserva de mesa

I stayed with friends in ebersberg and loved this place. Best schnitzel I have ever had, and I've had a few! Friendly staff, great outlook and nice wood styled interiors. It has a great lookout out the back that allows you to see to the alps. Ebersberg is a quiet town but this is an exceptional pub! On a historical note if you see my photos there is a memorial on all of the trees f the people who didn't come back from world war 1 which is quite poignant and good for history buffs. If you like forest walks, one of the last big forest in Germany is located just behind it and there are many walking paths so you can feel you have earned your Schnitty and bier!!

I came to the coffee and cake on Sunday after a little winter walk. Both the Cappucino and the Cherry Quark cakes were very delicious, either made there or made by a very good confectionery at the place. The ambience is very rustic, type 'Bavarian Economy', for my taste very cozy, nice with oven in the middle of the room and so.

Despite coronary measures and many guests, the staff was very friendly, flotted and attentive. The food was very delicious and came quickly. What do you want? In addition, everything was super clean and was additionally disinfected due to corona etc. We like to come back.

Sonntag, regnerischer Tag, Gaststätte bis 14:30 Uhr richtig voll, Platz ohne reserviert kaum möglich. Dann wird's leerer, durchgehend warme Küche, der Service bemüht aber wohl etwas erschöpft. Essen war ok aber auch kein Renner, viel bayrisches Lokal, dunkel und laut. Reserva una mesa ahora

Der Gäubodenspargel war enttäuschend, leicht bitter und vielleicht zu dünn geschält. Der Salat mit Rapsöl und weißem Weinessig dürftig. Die Forelle mit Essig statt Zitrone. Das Weißbier zu warm. Der Alpenblick im Dunst. Jedoch der Ausblick vom nahen Turm lohnend.
