I stayed with friends in ebersberg and loved this place. Best schnitzel I have ever had, and I've had a few! Friendly staff, great outlook and nice wood styled interiors. It has a great lookout out the back that allows you to see to the alps. Ebersberg is a quiet town but this is an exceptional pub! On a historical note if you see my photos there is a memorial on all of the trees f the people who didn't come back from world war 1 which is quite poignant and good for history buffs. If you like forest walks, one of the last big forest in Germany is located just behind it and there are many walking paths so you can feel you have earned your Schnitty and bier!!
I came to the coffee and cake on Sunday after a little winter walk. Both the Cappucino and the Cherry Quark cakes were very delicious, either made there or made by a very good confectionery at the place. The ambience is very rustic, type 'Bavarian Economy', for my taste very cozy, nice with oven in the middle of the room and so.
Wir hatten heute das Tagesmenü mit Klöschensuppe, Kalbsgulasch und Lebkuchenmousse. Die Suppe und die Nachspeise kriegen die volle Punktzahl. Das Kalbsfleisch hatte an einigen Stellen zu viele Fettstücke. Service war Supernett und stets aufmerksam. Wir kommen gerne wieder bei gemütlicher und angenehmer Ambiente.
Good bourgeois cuisine with good level. Rustic, cozy mountain hut. In beautiful weather from the terrace a beautiful view of Ebersberg and the Alpine panorama. Beautiful view from the nearby view tower. The forest museum with forest paths is also recommended. Total value of a trip.
