All in all a great new address. The wines are excellent and the food is very good. I'm glad Josch's back in action. The service is very attentive at any time and explains the wines very detailed. To the individual courses: Appetizer: The little things were really great and very beautiful. Especially good were the fish plant and the liver. The duck is also recommended. With regard to wort and raftinesse, the river cancers are still a little air. Main courses: Very tasty and top dressed beef stew. Only the sauce could have been more concentrated. The cod was glassy and beautifully dressed at the point. Cheese: As you know from Affineur Waltmann, it was cheese of the best quality. A declaration...
The noble free is a top shop! Go up but with a cozy living room atmosphere! Super nice service staff, always as if you need something but not intrusive. We had paprika foams with smoked duck breast, salmon steak with leaf spinach and saffron sauce, saffronrisotto with spinach and cod and cream brûlée with a really good white wine. Everything very tasty and also neat portions at elevated but totally fair prices. Five stars without thinking! We'll definitely be back!
We dropped in for lunch, attracted by the billboard outside. Our waiter was excellent, allowing us to try wines before buying. We had the scampi salad and my husband had the special fish curry, which was light and delicious. The seafood in my salad was perfectly cooked, not over cooked. The local wine range by the glass is fabulous and all reasonably priced. You can buy wines by the bottle to take away.
This restaurant has virtually no street presence but it's well worth a visit. The food is uniformly excellent (I ate there twice) and the wine list is exceptional, featuring lots of interesting and unusual wines by the glass, and they're very good value. The wait staff are knowledgeable and helpful.
