The Eden is the historic gourmet restaurant of Houlgate and about us it has not failed to its reputation. The dishes are very successful, first gustatively of course, but also level of presentation. I especially enjoyed the perfect cooking of the merlu that changes everything. The oysters were very good and well prepared, without shell burst inside. The bread is in the diapason and served generously. The meal is preceded by amusement and coffee accompanied by mignardises. The service is very professional. The room is well arranged, each table enjoys its space. Count 40 000 € with drink for the 1st menu, otherwise 50, good value for money.
A magical place but you must be spotted because the exterior does not allow the excellence of the interior. Tasted and refined, it explodes in the mouth. The price is largely justified and even that of the coffee that has nothing to do with the one who took in a bar.. The more wonderful the chef could adapt to my request for vegetarian meals, although it is not stipulated on the map. The setting is soothing and calm and, the jazz music background is a plus. The service is upstairs, we really enjoyed it this time at home.
