I wanted to love this place, but the food was uninspiring. Most of the dishes were vegan versions of meat dishes which some people might like. I tried the drumsticks which were pretty good, but the celery on the side was the best part. I also tried the spa wrap which was also okay. Didn’t love the fake salmon, but the rest of the ingredients were fine. The smashed potatoes had too much garlic and pepper. The desserts were good. The brownie was delicious. The chocolate covered cannoli was fine too. The restaurant was very smoky. I felt bad for the employees because the air quality was unhealthy. They need to install a better kitchen vent. We called the restaurant at 7:15 PM to place a takeout order for a party of five, intending to pick it up by 7:40 PM. The person on the phone informed us they wouldn't accept dine-in orders after 7:40 PM, but when we called to place our order, we were outright refused service. We were told our order wouldn’t be taken at all, even for pickup. It’s puzzling why they list their closing time as 8 PM if they're actually shutting down much earlier. It seems like the manager doesn’t want to attract customers. I have my doubts about the positive reviews; they don't seem genuine.
Love the location. Downtown Scranton. Open when other locations are closed in between lunch and dinner. Amazing art on the walls for sale. Highly recommend. Had high hopes with the good atmosphere. Burger was under cooked with bland potatoes on the side. Pizzas were delicious just small portions per serving size.
