I was in Bristol for a big birthday celebration on a Saturday afternoon recently. As we were walking around the vibrant and bustling city, we stumbled upon a small venue located in Castle Park, near the bombed out church. There were many people queuing up for various drinks and food offerings. Our group of 15 people were able to find all the usual drinks (coffees, hot chocolate, teas, and bottled beverages) available. I was greeted with a friendly hello and a smile, and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere of this cozy spot. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking to relax.

On a weekend visit to Bristol, we were staying nearby and were lucky enough to have fine weather so sat outside this place to eat brunch. The staff were helpful and readily adapted my salad pitta to be vegan (I think by including falafels instead of egg). It seemed good value, the food was tasty (we eat a lot of falafels so are quite fussy) and plentiful, and the view of the park was lovely so it was pretty near perfect... Updated review: I had previously visited this restaurant and had a great experience, but returning yesterday after a couple of years, I was disappointed. The woman who took my order was friendly, but the server seemed to have not checked my order properly. I was unsure if the dressing added to my salad was vegan. Despite mentioning my preferences, the salad was not spicy as requested and was overall bland and dry. For a £9 lunch, it was a disappointing experience.

In an area of Castle Park where people were once able to freely walk around, there is now a new addition featuring picnic benches. Surprisingly, these benches seem to be reserved exclusively for customers, unlike the other benches scattered throughout the park. The park itself is funded by taxpayers, which raises the question of who is profiting from these exclusive tables and wooden box. Is it the Bristol City Council? Reserva una mesa ahora

Edna's Kitchen offers a limited selection of vegan options, but many of their non-vegan dishes can easily be made vegan. I tried the Sabich Wrap, which included aubergine, hummus, salad, and falafel instead of egg. I also ordered a side of fries for an additional £1. The wrap was flavorful and satisfying, especially the falafel. If I were to return, I would likely just order falafel and hummus.

Without a doubt the best falafel in Bristol and possibly in the whole of England. It tastes delicious and the salads are just divine. Everyone is so nice and polite, the kiosk is very clean and the espresso there is pretty good too. I would definitely recommend Edna’s kitchen at Castle hill. The view is great with plenty of sitting space too. Top Falafel and excellent service!

The falafels were flavorful and the salad box had a good mix of vegetables. The portion size was generous and kept me full for a long time. However, the chili sauce could have been spicier. Overall, it was a friendly and tasty lunch with flavorful falafels and fresh salad.

For £2.70 for a black coffee I was expecting it to taste nice. I was disappointed. Also disappointing was the disposable cup with plastic lid it was served in. When I asked about recycling I was told to put in the waste bin for landfill. Rubbish! Reserva una mesa ahora

I really enjoyed the falafel box at this restaurant! The falafels were incredibly crispy, the salads were delicious, and the hummus was creamy. The restaurant itself is very nice.

We had a nice medium size falafel in a pita. You can only sit outside. Place was busy around lunch time.
