I usually operate under a policy of not leaving negative reviews. If you can 't say something nice don 't say anything. However, I was upset enough after visiting Edwards after feeling more fleeced than being served that I 'm making an exception. The service was fine, but the food was very subpar. The overall theme of the food was a real lack of seasoning which if I 'm paying $200 for a meal it 's inexcusable to be that far off on the basics. We had ordered an appetizer and when everyone had polished off the bread, the server asked us if we wanted more bread, then charged us extra for the bread. Normally at an upscale restaurant charging for items like bread seems very miserly. My son ordered chicken tenders and asked for a side of mac 'n ' cheese and they charged us not for 1 kids meal and a side of mac, but instead 2 kids meals! Again just a miserly practice without any warning of it. My wife ordered a pasta dish which basically was noodles and a can of tomatoes. Probably cost all of $3 but marked up to $30. Which I could overlook if it was prepped well with decent ingredients, and didn 't seem like it was just phoned in. Couple that with a TV stuck over an artistic mural when countless blank walls with nothing on them existed just sort of highlights the total lack of care that extends to their food. I suppose this is what the TV shows called uninspired cooking , but what made it so egregious was the price tag which made it seem as if they couldn 't care less about the food they were serving. I won 't be making that mistake again in the future, and this review is a reminder to not accidentally walk in there. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Came to Rosemary Beach for a 60th birthday with entire family. Chose Edwards to celebrate the milestone because of the menu and past experiences. They don't take reservations; couldn't accommodate an inside table even after several members of the party waited enjoying the bar. Sat outside; need to to change into dry fit clothes because it was so hot in the drab patio with industrial fans going. Food was exceptional but the experience was a bit horrific. Suggest this isn't the place for memorable milestone events. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

I expected more from the owner of La Crema. Double the price for half the taste. Got the grouper and my partner got the scallops. Scallops great, grouper not so. Brussels sprouts were ok. Mozzarella/tomato nothing special. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Recommended dishes: Seared Sea Scallops

I was very disappointed with the food. Steak was equivalent to Waffle House and crab cake was extremely fishy tasting. We sat inside and it smelled like bar rot. The service and staff was great. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
