Some balance is needed here… I have been ordering from EE House for several years, and it has always been a mediocre, kind of okay, nothing special place for when you were craving Chinese food and nothing else would do. However, over the last six months, they have significantly improved. Simply call them directly, clearly state your order, pay with a card to the friendly lady, stop wasting your time and money with delivery services like Deliveroo, and you will receive very decent food in 45 minutes. I placed an order on Just Eat and waited over an hour for my food to be delivered. When I called to inquire about the delay, the woman on the phone kept saying it would be another 10-15 minutes. I tried to cancel my order because it was getting late, but she informed me that it had already been processed and a refund was not possible. When the food finally arrived, it was mostly overcooked and cold, with stale meat. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs. The staff members were also rude on the phone, so I suggest looking for better Chinese takeout options elsewhere.
Ordered on just eat, said 50 mins to hour for delivery Called after an hour and the lady said that it was going to be another 45 minutes . She said would give us a free dish of our choice . Requested one then she said no sorry can’t do that and will cancel order as would be longer than another hour for delivery meaning wouldn’t be with us til gone half 10 pm !! They quickly cancelled and were rude on the phone !! Rubbish!!
For a while now i have not been impressed with this take away. Customer service is poor, front of house staff have no manners and just hurry to take payment before you even finish your order. Don 't expect authentic regional Chinese food, but the anglicised versions of dishes we all know and love. I like this place as it 's not far from my flat but also there is some flavour! I like their egg fried rice and their noodle dishes the most. The chicken can be slimy and the prawns a bit meh So stick with the beef and you 'll be fine.
