We have visited this restaurant several times before and always found the service slow but the food very good. It is also good value for money. Unfortunately, when we visited with friends last night the service was unacceptably slow. From ordering it took one hour and twenty minutes for the main course to arrive. Other diners who ordered after us were served their main courses before us which added to our frustration. We all ordered sea food starters and they were very good but came without bread. When we asked for bread we were told that only sliced white was on offer. A minor point, I know, but we have dined in many places in Spain and the availability of bread has never before been an iss...
This cozy and friendly eatery is located in the center of Calpe. You can sit here on a comfortable chair on the open terrace, the covered terrace (the roof can be opened) and indoors, a suitable place for every season. I have eaten here several times and after the well-known quarantine, this was the first place I thought of for dinner in the first stage towards more freedom. Cada vez que estamos en Calpe siempre visitamos Max para cenar. Definitivamente podemos recomendar este restaurante que es dirigido por Roy y Won (perdón si lo escribí mal)... el cóctel de cangrejo de entrada es maravilloso y la lenguado y goulash son imprescindibles. Siempre nos hacen sentir bienvenidos y disfrutamos del ambiente relajado. ¡Esperamos con ansias nuestra próxima visita!
always come here when you are in calpe. hasn't had any opportunity for over 4 years to visit the opposite and was happy that roy and wan were still here. they always have the set menu that is very valuable and eating was as good as usual. in any case worth a visit and we will return when we are in the mai again in calpe! First time back in Calpe after two long years and this place never disappoints. Welcomed like an old lost friend and food first class as ever. The one place in Calpe to get perfectly cooked fresh vegetables. Absolutely scrumptious! Again this place never disappoints and you are made very welcome. Dare you to try it.
