My first experience of eating food, characterized by its diverse Turkish specialties, at this restaurant was praiseworthy. It’s a good place serving Halal food ranging from simple kebab dishes to classic Turkish grilled dishes (such as Adana Kebab). A lot of emphases are placed on...fresh ingredients, which makes the food taste very delicious! The dishes ordered were incredibly tasty, the staff very friendly, the service excellent and the ambiance enjoyable. Some of the items we selected were döner sandwich, linsensuppe, patlican ezmesi (eggplant paste), peynirli pide (pita with cheese), lahmacun mit salat, tavuk sis kebab (chicken sis kebab), karisik izgara (mixed grill), ayran (buttermilk)...
Efendi’s restaurant in Darmstadt is characterized by its diverse Turkish specialities. In addition, a great deal of value is placed on the fresh ingredients, making the food delicious! Due to the very central location at the castle, the Efendi 's can be reached very quickly and can also be visited by public transport. The restaurant is very modern and simply furnished. Unfortunately the tables were not wiped on my day of visit, otherwise the restaurant looks very clean. The service was perfect and the staff were all very friendly. Finally, it can be said that everything is true in the price-performance ratio and the Efendi ́s is recommended.

I used to study in TU-Darmstadt building just in front of the resturant, so for 4 years I ate a lot there. The food is really good, specially the daily dish which changes nearly every day.
I've had the best lamb spear here for a long time. Fresh delicate meat, fresh supplements, all from the finest at a good price. We are happy to come back and recommend Efendi's Restaurant
Good classic tasty döner. Good price. No beer available. Complementary after food tea. If you want to get served quicker stand up an order at the bar
