I was passing through Crossmaglen and decided to stop for a quick coffee. Wasn't sure where to go and then spotted the Egg Cafe. Went in to try it out. What a find! This is the best cafe I have been to in a very long time. The Americano coffee was excellent and the pastry was superb. The cafe is small and cosy but what really made this place stand out was the friendly service from the young lady at the counter, and of course the super coffee. I will definitely will come back to this place. Best find in a long time!
Myself, friend and her children were very well looked after by a very kind, courteous young man called Davi. Davi was so patient with my friends children as they selected their ice cream flavours and toppings. He was also so nice ensurinf that our table outside eas wiped before we sat down. The ice cream and coffee were both lovely but it's Davi's manner that stood out and make you return!
Whether you visit this place every day or your just passing through Crossmaglen on a flying visit you will get the same treatment which will be amazing. I haven't met anyone yet that hasn't felt right at home in Egg. The coffee is best coffee I have ever had. The ice cream is amazing. Always leave Egg in good form.
Popped in for a coffee and tray bake caramel squares and lemon slices are to die for). Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Staff are very attentive and so friendly. It’s always nice to feel welcome as a solo diner. I will return.

The delicious homemade ice-cream comes in several flavours which can be made into milkshakes as well. The coffee and buns are also top class. Definitely recommend a visit to Egg!
