Wow, what an incredible breakfast! I usually approach breakfast spots with caution, especially when reviewers say you haven't truly had an omelette until you've tried theirs or claim they'd drive hundreds of miles just for breakfast. But I can confidently say that the reviews for Egg'lectic are spot on—if not an understatement! The omelette (Hey Ricky) I had was the best I've ever tasted, nothing else even comes close; second place is miles behind. And the salsa was fantastic too! In my opinion, this is hands down the best breakfast place I’ve ever visited, anywhere. The service was great as well!

Portillo's is one of several dining establishments located at the intersection of W. Ontario and N. Clark in the heart of Chicago. Situated just across the street from the iconic 50-year-old McDonald's and Hard Rock Cafe, Portillo's offers a diverse menu, ample seating, and quick service. I opted for a loaded Jumbo dog, and it met my expectations—a fast and satisfying meal. The restaurant features some neat memorabilia from the Prohibition era and a unique outdoor area, though it's styled in a faux decor. It's a great spot for tourists, conveniently located along the hop-on hop-off bus route.

Really good place to eat! Went there on a Sunday morning. It wasn?t too crowded, which was nice, and there was no wait. The food was really good as well. I asked for a couple of specific things like extra whipped cream for my waffle, and they broughtme a whole soups cups worth! The sausage patties and eggs were good, and the fruit wasn?t slimey. Christian the server wasprobably the best part of it. He was very attentive, without being annoying, and really seemed like he wanted to make sure wehad everything we needed, and it was to our satisfaction. (He?s the reason for the fifth star).

This restaurant is truly a gem! I've visited several times, and both the food and service have consistently impressed me. Their homemade cinnamon rolls are simply amazing—truly the best I’ve ever tasted! The wraps and omelets are fantastic too. You really can’t go wrong here. This is a fantastic breakfast spot. Everything I've tried here has been excellent. The omelets, skillets, Benedicts, and pancakes were all outstanding. The waitstaff was attentive, and our food arrived swiftly from the kitchen—usually within 5 to 10 minutes of ordering. I highly recommend this place to anyone in Schaumburg and the surrounding areas.

Even though this place hasn't been busy at all on our last three or four visits, I know it isn't due to the quality of the food! Such a varied menu and huge selection. It isn't elegant like Walker Bros but it is quaint and comfortable.

Absolutely fantastic experience! I enjoyed a delicious meal in the morning, which was just what I needed after a long flight. The food was divine, with unlimited coffee and fluffy pancakes. I highly recommend this place!
