We were warmly welcomed by a cheerful gentleman who helped us make our selections, even suggesting the best type of bread to go with our meal (original is the way to go!). We found a picnic table outside and were glad we sat down just as our plate arrived—it was a stunning sight and an enormous amount of food that would take anyone's breath away. The food was absolutely outstanding, and the service was wonderful! The Egg Roll Lady and Fish Shack have definitely made it onto our travel agenda as a must-visit whenever we pass through Worcester in the future. Thank you! By the way, we felt like we barely made a dent in the food, but it was perfect to take home with us.
Worth the wait! We ordered by phone on a Friday night and while they said it would be ready in 20/25 it was actually more like 40. With that caveat on a busy night it was definitely worth the wait. Clam chowder was goodly mix of potatoes and clams in a tasty light broth (unlike some starchy broths you can wallpaper with). Eggroll lady platter was so chock a block full they had to tape the box shut! The order of clamstrips fried in a light batter was àlso overflowing. Why have we never been here before? But we will definitely be back!
I absolutely love the Egg Roll Lady! We visited yesterday while traveling from Lowell, and decided to dine in. I ordered the Egg Roll Lady platter, which was delicious! My son got the scallop roll, and it was enormous; he even shared some of the scallops with us. My fiancé declared the fish and chips to be very good as well. It's a cozy little restaurant where everyone treats you like family, and the Egg Roll Lady always makes sure you’re well taken care of. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We truly love this place!
I'm from the North Shore and have never been able to get decent seafood west of 128 until now. Best whole clams I have had in decades. As good as the eggrolls are (and they are 5 stars) the seafood is better. I would go as far as to say it is right up there with places likeThe Maine Diner, Kelly's, The Clam Box, and Woodman's. Oh, and the giant piece of fried dough with cinnamon and sugar on the side is a great ending to any meal or if you want an afternoon snack. Reserva una mesa ahora
I was incredibly impressed! The portions are so generous that they have to use sturdy containers. I ordered the belly mussels, which were super clean and small, while my friend chose the egg roll, which was delightfully crispy—exactly what you hope for with fried seafood. To top it off, they even gave me two extra shrimp! Thank you!
Can't tell you how many times I have passed this in my life. Read it was highly rated and figured I would take the suspense away. Ordered the 5 pack. Wow 8 bucks equals 5 egg roll and 1 crab Rangoon. I was just gonna eat 1 or 2 but couldn't stop until all was abolished!! Hours are funky, but worth planning for!!
