I was very excited to have found another EGP because we love EGP Gastropub. This one is nestled in beautiful Island Park by the water and has a nice atmosphere. The servive was friendly, warm and fast and the drinks were delicious. We ordered apps to start. The oysters were good, but we did miss the mignonette to go with, this only came with cocktail sauce, hot sauce and lemon. I absolutely adore this restaurant. I often visit just to indulge in their delicious buffa-que wings, which are some of the best I've ever had. I also had the pleasure of trying the fried fish sandwich, which was unbelievably good. I loved it so much that I even made myself a similar sandwich at home the next day because I wanted to savor those flavors again. Their sweet potato fries are also amazing, I can't get enough of them. My only complaints are that the menu had changed suddenly and my go-to choice of mac and cheese was no longer available. I really do love this place. I sometimes just come here to get the buffa-que wings. They are some of the best chicken wings I have ever had. I also had the pleasure of enjoying the fried fish sandwich and oh my god was it good. I loved it to much the next day I made myself my own fish sandwich because I wanted that exact one again. So disappointing. Had a birthday get together here with a group. Sent my meal back- it was awful (burnt, old meat). They served me a soda with a dirty straw (ketchup dried up all over it). Straws do not come wrapped. My son’s fries were burnt and the rest of the food and appetizers were bland. Will not be going back here again.
