the restaurant eichenhof is a harburg tradition restaurant. who is in business for so long should know how it is - should you think.I have rarely had such a bad experience in a restaurant as here.The kitchen is good-bourgeois and offers many traditional dishes. Unfortunately even minor changes (salt potatoes instead of brat potatoes) do not work. it is not centrally located, far from all tourist attractions in hamburg. on a quiet Saturday I came here, I found it full of natives. After I tried eating, I understood why - finely prepared, with fresh ingredients from the region, nothing special, but so delicious at a very reasonable price. I want to come back next time! I was here twice on the way back from holland to Sweden and had a traditional carving dish. great quality in traditional restaurant. I don't think there's anything wrong with nutrition. in summer they have a beautiful outdoor terrace. nothing for the autobahn, easy to reach, free parking

we have landed randomly in the eichenhof, because of the full blockage of the autobahn and the navi past here. we were so hungry and it was just great!!!Very nice operation, very good eating huge portions, what do you want more?Gern again when the autobahn is once again locked :-)

on the return from the North Sea we have landed in the right place. pure relaxation in the free seat at the pond. the white carving and the trout in blue were top. the service was very attentive and friendly. highly recommended.
