we wanted to escape the fog in the underland. After a visit to the glasi in hergiswil we drove to the ownthal to refuel a little bit. we studied the menu and decided to dine here.Our spontaneous decision was the right one. what the kitchen crew cooked was absolute top class!! Especially all fresh, no food. cordon bleu, rindsfilet with self made pfeffer sauce simply "Hammer".The wine selection excellent. the service very attentive and nice.We will feed again with safety. super continues.

per month I visited this restaurant with my wife and daughter 4-5 times. when I played today, on the associated playground, with my torrent on the swing, the chef came up like a fury on me and sworn me to all people, with a higher voice, when A....H, as I allegedly missed too much swing to my daughter!. even though I have already learned from others that he is unfriendly, I have now experienced this myself. this was our last visit today.

we have eaten the tagesteller in this restaurant. all very well dressed and very well cooked. but for the price too little on the teller. resi and supplement much too little. we had to order pommes that were almost forgotten by the served daughter.But otherwise everything was very nice service by owner.
