Einstein Bistro - Reservar una mesa

We stayed at the Einstein St Gallen for two nights and had several breakfasts and dinners in Bistro St. Gallen. Excellent service, very good menu, and a beautiful place to gather for a meal. We were with a tour (tauck) and set ourselves on a table for six. The waiting staff was excellent in their knowledge of the menu and very fast to use with us. As far as the menu choices, everything we have ordered was excellent: Wiener Schnitzel, Bratwurst, Rib Eye Steak, etc. Does not seem that reservations are required, but you want to do this to make sure you have a place. Recommended give them an attempt, highly recommended.

The tapas were extremely sweet and were small quantities. We ordered the bistro burger the meat was over cooked and didn’t taste or look like beef. The steak Tatar was supposedly “160g” and had bacon pieces and the toast arrived 10 mins late with no butter. As a dessert we ordered a Crema catalana which had not been prepared recently, it was frozen on the bottom and warmish on the top

Excellent food. The quality, the presentation, the part, it was all very beautiful. The restaurant itself does not look at imagination, especially lightning needs some attention, but as long as food is good, it doesn't matter to me.

The room is bright and ok in terms of decoration, but is not very high. Service is fine, but food is not very good, the meat is not good at all, so neither the burger.

Great food very friendly staff is like home! You serve hot dishes all day, which are very rare in St. Gallen!
