No, it is not the best gelato in Darmstadt, but better than most of the other gelaterias (maybe except Cafe Venedig and Coccola that are still my favourites in Darmstadt). The gelato is not too sweet and not too creamy, just as it should be. All flavours I tried were really good but not exceptional. Scoops are not huge for the price of 1,10 Euro and the fact that the cafe is is the middle of nowhere makes it feel even more expensive. Location and outside seating in the shadow is very nice, service is very friendly.
This gelateria offers "good old Italian" gelato and the flavors are traditional but all the ones I tried were really good.Service was very friendly and the outdoor shady seating invites you to stay longer.Price wise a little high considering the fact that it is not in the city centre but in Eberstadt.
