I have passed by this restaurant numerous times, but finally had the chance to dine there the other night and I must say it was a delightful experience. Instead of traditional menus, they offer a 'smart' menu on an iPad for easy browsing and ordering. Although this is a great concept, I think it would be nice for the staff to check in with customers during their meal as there is minimal waitress interaction. The cocktails were reasonably priced, with a delicious sangria priced at just $7 for a large glass. The meals were served quickly and the portion sizes were generous for the price. Easily the best Mexican food I've had in Queensland. Three adults and 2 children fed, including 2 bottles of sangria for the adults and some desserts for $125! The service was a mix of innovation, tablets, and great table service. Somehow they make it work very well. The ribs were the best I've had in an Australian restaurant of any genre. They were nicely coated, marinated, smoked and cooked to fall off the bone perfection. A variety of meals were eaten at the table with everyone happy. If you're looking for Mexican food in Brisbane don't miss El Aguila.
We were a little apprehensive walking into El Aguila , it looked like a take away joint as only the take away menu was on display however the waitresses were very lovely and informative. We settled in nicely with perfect margarita 's.The food was delicious and well priced. The place only lacks ambience but forgivable given the other positives. We will definitely be back.
We had dinner at El Aguila were suitably impressed with the food, service was a tad slow, but the girls were very attentive. You order from ipads at your table. We ordered an al fresco dip for a starter, followed by chilli con carne a vegetarian enchilada. All the food was generous in portion sizes tasty. We ordered habanero hot it was!

El Aguila has quickly become a popular restaurant in Nundah Village, offering a modern take on Mexican cuisine. Personally, I always struggle to choose between the chicken quesadillas and the tostada bowl - that shell is just so delicious!
This shop is friendly and has lovely staff. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the food you won’t be disappointed by. I had an enchilada which was really delicious and affordable. For good Mexican food at a decent price I would recommend!
Good food, I go back for the Nachos and the Trio of dips. Heaps to feed two people. Also good Sangria. Table service can be a bit hit and miss, the ordering is through ipads on your table though so not too much of an issue.
The restaurant serves delicious Tex-Mex cuisine that may not be authentic Mexican but is still enjoyable. The service is friendly and efficient, and I will definitely return for another tasty meal at a fair price.

Great food, friendly staff and the chef even came out to see how the food was. I asked for as hot as possible as I was VERY impressed. I will be back!
