We went earlier this week for my birthday breakfast. I love making homemade chilaquiles green but didn’t want to cook that day ! . I was told they only had red chilaquiles so I ordered that with steak. The steak was very chewy, but the texture of the chilaquiles was good. My husband found the flavor of the sauce to be very off-putting, like it was perhaps burnt. I wasn’t as unhappy with the flavor but it also wasn’t comparable to other chilaquiles I’ve had.
