I returned to the restaurant to show the owner, but he reacted dismissively, moving the plate aside as if to say there was nothing wrong. He didn't apologize or acknowledge the issue with the dish. Instead, he tried to take the plate back to have it cooked further, but I declined for health reasons. I then requested a different meal to avoid the risk of salmonella.
I overheard him telling the staff to prepare another dish because "I didn’t like the first one," which struck me as unprofessional. Overall, this was a very disappointing customer experience, and I cannot recommend dining here. This charming little Mexican spot is a delight! It's a perfect place for a date over a nice lunch, though be prepared to spend a bit. My torta was absolutely amazing, and the chips with homemade salsa that I ordered on the side were incredibly tasty! My friend had the chicken guacamole salad and really enjoyed it as well. I definitely made a great choice. I'll be returning soon for another lovely lunch after a stroll around Alameda.
This is the worst food ever used to be good the message changed cook so I don't know but the guacamole is watery I couldn't believe my food was cold I ordered the some tacos and it was cold I heard they have rats there in this place is the worst used to be good I can't believe how how down the food is gotten I'll never go there again don't go there is my advice
YUM YUM AND MORE YUM! A bit pricier than others and well worth it. Burritos very large with choice of black, refried or pinto beans.. Try the breakfast Burrito, enough to share on a busy weekend morn.. Vegan Spinach enchiladas to die for!! Soups, all a must try! Mama's almond flan, yummmmm!

second review...was better than the first time .had the al pastor wet burrito and it was not good. the soße has almost no hurdle to him. the al pastor was the same and compared to the rice was almost unexistent. the mais caught it as a failure.
We ordered our food and while we were waiting for it a big rat come out of the kitchen it was super gross I'll never go there never again The owner was nice he even return our money
We absolutely love this place! We go here a few time a month and usually order the same things. Chicken tacos, California burritos and chips. Everything is so good!
Awesome street food I go there every chance that I get. The service is impeccable, they always give you enough fixings. Authentic and just delicious.

The food is excellent, especially the pupusas and the great soup options. I just wish they would bring back the scarlet dish.
