El Capitan - Reservar una mesa

A great lunch today, probably our best meal in Spain on this trip. The menu del dia had good fish options…we both have to be gluten free and they could cater for that and I had fresh pineapple for dessert. 3 courses including a bottle of house wine, bread and water with a couple of cafe solo to finish €44. We were planning on a trip to Taragona tomorrow before moving on but very tempted to change plans and return

Not exactly 5 but a 4.5 as food is great, service is good, and you can sit and have fun with your mates over a few bottles of wine and some meals. I had the beef in burbon sauce which could have been good but the meat was over done for me. Also had an amazing tropical salad which I highly recommend and the seafood Paella which was also very tasty. Prices are very reasonable.

We've eaten here twice now and both times it was very good. The 19€ menu del dia has limited options 3 starters and 3 mains but it's freshly made and well presented and the bottle of light local wine with it was perfect with the food. We were on the terrace which is airy and bright. Service was friendly and attentive.

For more than 5 years I"ve been going to El Capitán and it's each time better! Today I had from the daily menu the seafood pasta and the Supreme of seabass (lubina). What a pleasure for the taste and the eyes were delighted by the seafront view. Food, service, location and ambiance at the top.

One of the best meals we had in Torredembarra. The 4 course menu del dia priced at 23 euros was excellent value (included a bottle of wine) food was all super high quality and very prompt service.
