When a staff member finally took my order and told me the total, I was a bit taken aback. I understand that prices have risen due to inflation, but it felt quite expensive compared to other places, especially since I ordered a small plate, not even a regular size. Nonetheless, I remained hopeful that the food would justify the cost, so I went ahead and paid. I was then informed it would take over 20 minutes for my order to be ready. The Parillada is meant to include chicken, beef, shrimp, and sausages. However, we’ve noticed that something has been missing lately. Once, the shrimp was left out when we ordered for takeout, so we didn’t mention it then. On two or three other occasions, it was the sausage that was missing. I didn’t think it was a major issue and assumed they must have run out, so we didn’t bring it up until now. I recently discovered that my daughter’s favorite is the sausage, and she’s not pleased when it’s omitted. I’ll be sure to check if they have all the meats available next time before we order.

With over 40 years of experience enjoying Mexican food (lol), I can confidently say this is one of the best places on the island. I ordered the quesadilla plate with beans and rice, and it was delicious—reminding me of one of my favorite spots in San Antonio, TX. This is one of the best, if not the best, Mexican restaurant I've experienced on the island. The interior is somewhat small, but the food is absolutely delicious, and they were playing a lot of Selena music, which was a nice touch! I would definitely return.

I had an excellent dining experience! The food was fantastic, earning a solid 5 out of 5. The service was good, but I would rate it a 4. The atmosphere was also great, receiving a 5. Overall, a wonderful place for dinner!
