We visited El Chupito during a recent stay in Leaucate Plage and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, sitting on a side street with our own table lamp brought back when we sat down. The food was very good and the service was excellent, all for a very reasonable price. We stayed faithful to the wine of the house, but we found nothing to say, so very good. We have passed the restaurant many times as it looks dark un interesting BUT step inside you will be impressed! Not only by the beautiful building but also by the terrific food steaks,duck breast Crevettes all at very reasonable prices the friendly efficient staff . El Chupito has now become our favourite local restaurant. (Live music on Friday evenings too!
This restaurant is in a large old building with plenty of room, however it gets busy in the summer. There is a good selection of fresh fish and meat cooked on a wood fire BBQ you can see the dry vines on the balcony used for it. Pizzas are also great. Families are welcome and the service is friendly. Reasonable prices too.
Interesting building but a totally disappointing eating experience. The waitress was hopeless, forgetting parts of the order and getting others wrong. Food was ok but the plates were topped up with salad to make them look full. Less would look more. So quite ordinary and easily avoidable.
