on the occasion of a family celebration on the penultimate Monday we wanted to visit the ones of our opinion in the best Mexicans in the French. after a short look into the internet, whether it is open (which was confirmed), we drove the 40 km to Aschaffenburg.Leider we stood before the door was closed - no note - no note - no note - no note - why is closed. only the owner of the opposite load has informed us that "some weeks apparently no longer open on Mondays". we felt the procedure impossible; in today's time, it must be possible to point to changed opening times - especially since the said load owner has already pointed out from his statement that the potential guests must be informed.....
every time I visit my family home, I force them to eat here it is all perfect: large menu with a set of different options, out to choose all authentic mexicans. the portions are huge, so I'm sure no one has ever starved there. I don't like spicy, but never had a problem with eating here, it's always moderate and with enough yogurt. the cocktails are also super and large glasses for a decent price. the best is the ambiente and the decoration. there is so much to discover, so many details and it is so cozy. also the terrace outside, although close to the roundabout nice to sit in the summer. the staff is always super friendly and makes them welcome!
Fuimos allí la otra noche, nos reunimos con amigos y disfrutamos de la velada en El Cortijo. Una de las cosas buenas que nos dimos cuenta es que tienen happy hour a partir de la tarde hasta con una amplia variedad de excelentes cócteles. La comida que ... disfrutamos, comenzando con buenos aperitivos, también fue genial. En caso de que esté de humor para comida mexicana, en un restaurante de estilo mexicano bien decorado, vaya allí y pruébelo. Volveré y lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Por cierto, la señorita que nos sirvió y nos ayudó a través del menú, fue hermosa y amable también
we went the other night there, met with friends and enjoyed the evening in el cortijo. one of the good things we have realized that they have happy hour, from pm to a great variety of large cocktails. the food we were happy, starting with nice appetizers, was also great. if they are in the mood for Mexican food, in a beautifully decorated Mexican style restaurant, then go there and give it a try. comes back and can highly recommend. I was here together with a big group of friends and everything went super smooth. Everyone spoke good English at the restaurant, they were very helpful and efficient. The food was amazing, super well served for the price. Cocktails were delicious and very cheap (happy hour from 5pm to 8pm and from 10pm until 12am). The decorations and music brought you to Mexico. I would totally advise this restaurant for anyone in the area!
