El Dinou is a restaurant located in the center of Vilanova i la Geltrú, a coastal town in Catalonia. The restaurant is located in the first floor of an historical house, where a well known poet in Vilanova (Manuel de Cabanyes) was born. Nowadays, the place is a restaurant and it is well-decorated as in the old times. Also from windows, you can see beautiful views of the street and Cos Square. We came here to eat a daily menu, and really it was very good: fideuà as first dish, duck meat with potatoes pure as second dish, and a cake as a dessert. Also I drank a glass of red wine. All was very good. A place very recommendable for the views, the historical house and the food.
On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly waiter, who suggested we sat in the front dining room as it was a little cooler . And he was right. Very attentive staff, very warm and friendly... leading nicely on to out delicious meal, I has the ravioili stuffed with truffle. Is was heaven in every mouthful. I opted then for the steak with Truffel sauce which came with potatoes. Steak was cooked to perfection and the sauce was sublime. To end with home made tiramisu.. so light and delicate , yet beautifully flavoured. I kept thinking this waiter has cooked with love and great pride. All in all a wonderful dining experience and all the staff were so friendly

El menjar boníssim i a mi personalment em va agradar molt l'arroç negre amb sipia. Tornarem! Everything perfect The price of the daily menu is very good, 12.95 euros. The waiters are very kind and kindly explain how much you are asked about how a dish is made. The great food and to me personally I really liked the black rice with sipia. We'll be coming back!
Been to El Dinou a couple of times and had great dining experiences. Their dishes are great, extremely well presented and all very original, well done Chef! Waiting staff were really friendly and efficient and love the location. Really looking forward to visiting again, highly recommend a visit.
