I was looking for a good restaurant to celebrate an anniversary, something out of common and certainly it was an excellent choice! Located outside Bonn but easy access from the motorway Good weather to eat outside in the garden, sheltered by ancient trees, with...Hortencia's in blossom, a quiet and pleasant setup. I contacted this restaurant in the middle of December trying to find a table for for New Year's Eve. I didn't have much hope but received a very friendly email telling me they were full and the best they could offer was my name...on a waiting list. I thanked them but said we probably needed something definite. The woman wrote back wishing us luck but then days later I received another email asking if we had found anywhere as they had a cancellation and would I like it? We were at this restaurant around the same time last year and we loved it and since we were back in Bonn wanted to revisit the place. The menu looked the same and we ordered the exact same tapas as one year ago. Whilst the...service was excellent, the food was not so, especially compared with our previous visit. Nice atmosphere and friendly service with good english. Seafood was very fresh and we enjoyed our first fresh seafood meal since leaving NZ. Poor waitress spilt or beer but she was so nice and apologetic felt sorry for her. We want to go back.

This is the best Spanish restaurant in the whole area which I know. You can have a classic paella or high class dishes with a variety of everything from land and sea. The vines are top notch. The service is very charming and friendly.

We were on a Friday evening and had a wonderful experience. Authentic Spanish dishes and the food was tasty. Service was impeccable. Restaurant is very clean. Will be back when in Bonn again.
