El Gallo Giro - Reserva de mesa

This El Gallo Giro in Fontana CA is way better than the one in Anaheim CA! Employees taking orders are super friendly and welcoming. The guy that makes the burritos wasn't very friendly and should definitely be talked to about having a better attitude. Inside looks to be well maintained outside isn't that well maintained. Food/ Was fresh hot and pretty damn good! I got a carnitas burrito. I'm not usually a fan of burritos having beans and rice, but this one was pretty decent. The auga fresca de horchata was really good but extremely overpriced! Im from Texas so i figured our authentic Mexican would be a little different. I dont speak great spanish so ordering was a little difficult because she was also wearing a mask and the kitchen was very loud but they got the order close to correct. The carne had a lot of fat but the meat was dry. How is that even possible? The pastor was dry but the tacos were dripping. Again, weird. 4 tacos and a drink was $30. That insane. For $30 in Texas i could have got 10 tacos and a couple beers. The place smelled really bad also like spoiled meat or something. I'll never go back.

I stopped by this restaurant after driving past it, and I'm so glad I did! The staff were incredibly helpful, and I really appreciated the great service. I'll definitely be returning – the people here are wonderful!

Need to prioritize better. We t in for lunch and it took over 25 minutes to get my items. I only had 4 tacos.
