Visited last night, and it was truly awful. From getting up the stairs, which are in the worst state of repair and covered in flower pots treacherous, no hand rail and no offer of help!!! Waited 25 minutes from sitting down to getting a menu, Waiter slammed menus down on the table and said drinks we ordered and 10 minutes later our drinks arrived and the same guy took our order, no smile or please or thankyou just extremely grumpy. Starters arrived as the people opposite got up and left as they had been sitting for over 1/2 an hour and nothing! Starters were average, and that 's all I can say. The main courses arrived very quickly and they were not great, the food was very greasy and no flavour. The toughest steak I 've ever had,paid less and had much better. Waited for 25 minutes from them taking our plates to get the bill.. no offer of desserts. Young couple next to us left their steaks as they couldn 't even cut through them. Defo would not go back or would not recommend it.
We turned up here quite late at night and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. We both ordered steaks and they were cooked exactly to our respective liking. Not overly expensive based on the quality of and the preparation of the food and accompanied by a very reasonably priced bottle of nice vino. Definitely a good choice for eats as far as we were concerned.
Excellent food we visited as a party of 12 and were so impressed. The chef was excellent and worked so hard. He cooked our orders perfectly on the open grill. The service was great and everything we ordered tasted amazing. If you’re looking for a superb steak house, then definitely give this place a visit. It was by far the best restaurant we visited for dinner.
