First timer here. When we arrived there, we were greeted by the host as well as a waiter who passed by (if he were a manager). We arrived at noon and half of the tables were occupied, and when we had set ourselves and ordered more people came and filled the tables. We got some chips and salsa before we started ordering. The salsa was perfect, maybe needed a little more Zilantro for my taste buds. We got more salsa than any other restaurant, so we didn't have to ask. We stopped at this restaurant while leaving town and chose it on a whim, craving Mexican food. It turned out to be an excellent decision! Everything we ordered was incredibly flavorful and authentic. We even started coming up with reasons to visit Beaumont again just to enjoy another meal here. My husband had the Birria tacos, and the consommé was bursting with flavor! If we ever find ourselves in this area again, we'll definitely return. Aside from the fantastic food, the staff were welcoming and friendly to everyone who came in. If you're looking for great Mexican food and an enjoyable experience, this is the place to eat!

This is the best Mexican food in Beaumont. It's not a fancy bar environment like LA CANTINA; instead, it offers excellent food, drinks, and prices. It truly has everything you want in a Mexican restaurant. The flavors are fantastic, and the rice and beans are cooked to perfection. Their habanero salsa is not for the faint-hearted, but it adds an incredible kick to your meal. Just a warning—it might make your nose run, and you’ll probably be too full to chase it! Haha! The Micheladas here are also the best in the area.

Our first time here and it was Sunday lunch, tables are filled quickly. We ordered taco potato as an appetizer, enchiladas and fried fish with Zilantro rice. This restaurant is among my top three favorite Tex-Mex places in Southeast Texas. I highly recommend the Mexican street tacos with barbacoa—it's my favorite dish. In addition to the delicious food, the wait staff is outstanding.
