This restaurant is bustling! Its close proximity to The Ark Encounter and lack of other nearby options make it a popular choice for many families. Despite being packed on a Monday night, the staff was efficient and friendly. The only suggestion would be to expand the lobby area. The margherita pizza was delicious, the presentation of the dishes was attractive, the food was tasty, and the service was excellent. We would definitely come back without hesitation! The restaurant was just mediocre. The lettuce was brown and the pico de gallo and guacamole seemed store-bought rather than homemade. The service was lacking and almost non-existent. It could have just been an off day for them. Overall, I would rate the food a 2, service a 1, and atmosphere a 2.

Lunch at this restaurant was a perfect 5 in all aspects - food, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommended dishes include Chips and Salsa and Arroz Con Pollo. Plenty of parking is available, with options for free parking in the lot or on the street.

El Jalisco is hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant. I have tried countless others over the years, but was hesitant to try one with just one exit and not much else.

I was amazed by the generous portion of crab meat in my dish! Although our drinks took a bit longer to arrive, the restaurant was very busy- even on a Wednesday night.
