A really nice family restaurant. The service is super-so friendly and attentive. The margaritas are great to choose with an enormous variety of tequilas. The food is somehow just American Mexican cuisine-very delicious. The beans a la olla are really great - for these instead of roasted beans. So delicious. My husband (who lived in Mexico) loved the Fajitas.
Visited Montrose and stopped by El Jimador The service was top notch, the staff very attentive to our needs, we had a group of 6. Having eaten Mexican style food on 4 different continents, the food was good but not the best. You won't be disappointed and its a good value. The atmosphere was great The restaurant was clean Portions were large
The food was served quickly. When I inquired about the type of chili used in the relleno, I was informed it wasn’t poblano, but it definitely was. Everything was topped with cheese, which, in my opinion, suggests that the flavors of the food might be lacking. I’ll give it another try to see if my impression changes.
The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, though it feels a bit outdated. Unfortunately, my beef enchilada had undercooked pink meat. However, the salsa was impressive, scoring a 9 out of 10, and the cabbage served as a great appetizer. Reserva una mesa ahora
Here from Toledo, OH and had a craving for some good Mexican food. I looked it up and found El Jimador. Wow, what a find!! Great service and excellent food!!!
This place is consistent and always good. The servers are friendly and prompt the atmosphere is what you want and it’s a great place for a quick lunch.
