El Local A Vins - Reservar una mesa

This is one of the smallest bars ever seen, located in an old house. It's not a trendy stylish bar. Inside is a wooden bar and some chairs, but you sit outside on tiny low wooden chairs with a lot of colourfull pillows. It's really a place for people watching as the bar is near the old Bridge at the entrance of Vaison-la-Romaine. Frederique is a nice host and serves good wines (and ofcourse other drinks like tea, coffee, rum and cocacola). Also Tapas and fingerfood are offered. We spent some afternoons just sitting there, listen to the music (chillout or reggae) and tried the great local Côte du Rhone wines.

Located in the medieval city, this tiny bar/cafe has well-made delicious food served with the excellent local wine (cotes de Rhone) in a creative, unique setting. They have a small, but tasty menu, featuring charcuterie and Provençal specialties. The hot dog looked fantastic! The ambience is totally relaxed and fits right in with the color and atmosphere that surrounds it. The music is good, too! Ignore the touristy restaurant and pizza place nearby and pull up a child's chair to a genuine find!

Just don’t bother. The staff claim that they’ll come to get your order after 20 minutes, but that’s a lie because you’ll have to go back to ask about your order. To boot, the cocktails are pathetic and cheap. To be avoided at all costs.

Drove 35 km to see this place. Arrived and a note on the door said to call a number and staff would be 5 min. We called and nobody picked up. Even for French standards this is really bad

Nice little laid back wine/rhum bar. No stress just relax in the low lounge chairs and enjoy your drinks and life....
