El Mariachi Authentic Mexican

If you want poorly made americanized Mexican food then this is the place for you. The salsa tastes like watery ketchup with cilantro. The food was terrible the cheese was watery and you get like ¾ cup of chicken and ¼ cup of salad for that price they were the smallest portions I've ever seen. Not that I was interested in more of the food. The bathrooms were dirty and have one wooden stall and 2 broken stalls that you slam shut and hope no one opens them. And one waiter kept attempting to carry way more than he was able and when he gave us our food he put one plate completely on top of the other and the bottom of the plate that was given to my husband had cheese and lettuce all over it and th...

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant in September 2023. The food, ambiance, and service were all outstanding. Chips and salsa were served right away, which set the tone for the meal. I decided to try the 4 enchiladas dish, and it arrived quickly. The food was piping hot, looked fantastic, and tasted even better. The prices were reasonable, making it a great value for what I received. I would not only be eager to return, but I would also go out of my way to dine here again. As a visitor, I can confidently say this place is worth it. A big shoutout to the staff, cooks, and owner for an excellent dining experience!

The throne for the best restaurant in town has been empty for a while now since Pizza Ranch’s quality has gone down while corporate scales their business. El Mariachi has picked up that crown to take its place as King of Wadena restaurants. The food is excellent, beer deals are insane, and the staff deserves an award for dealing with all the discrimination they receive from customers while still serving up the best Mexican cuisine in the area.

The entire interior is stunning and vibrant! The music is fantastic, too. The menu offers something for all ages. I tried the Strawberry Margarita and the Steak Enchiladas Mexicana, and I highly recommend both! They were so delicious that I couldn't get enough! The Margarita was exceptional! I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The service was friendly, and the Mexican food was the best I've had in a long time—absolutely delicious! I dined in for lunch, and the price was very reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20 per person. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as a perfect 5!
