went here after reading trip advisor, we wanted paella. As we sat down we asked and confirmed we could pay by visa as we were running low on cash... food fine, nice quiet restaurant, paella ok. go to pay and visa machine doesn't get a signal... they tell us to go to satander and withdraw cash to which I explain the credit card charges twice..they offer 3 euros and to pay receipt price but don't understand that full charges to using the credit card for cash wouldnt be known until return home..manager became very shirty/boarding agressive before patting the back of partner and sarcastically telling us to enjoy our free meal. After reading recent reviews we thought we would try tapas at this restaurant. The staff were very unfriendly and not welcoming at all. We ordered garlic prawns ok baby squid ok chicken croquettes not good steamed mussels sent back looked as if they had been warmed up about 10 times! Complained and to be fair staff offered them again or another choice. Went for garlic mushrooms (could count slices of mushrooms) just about ok. Best part of meal was warm bread and aliolli! Total disappointment!!!
The place only open in the evening even they advertised they open from 11am, it is January doh. However, it is a quiet place, not many walked bys, tapas are really cheap, 1 Euro for salad 2-3 Euro for seafood and meat. It is no gourmet but it is nice home fresh cooking. I was on my own when I discover the place to my delight because I could eat 4 small tapas at once. I had 3 seafood and 1 salad and a small bottle of water, bill came at 7.90. bargain!
Off the beaten track the El Meson Gallego offers a great selection of Tapas at a decent price. Tried several of their dishes that vary between 2-5 euros all of good quality. They also offer different sized portions of tapas so you can order a larger helping of your favourites. Nice relaed atmosphere and good service. Recommended for a real taste of the canaries.

This little tapas bar was bolted on the end of our Hotel and made an ideal spot for some lunch the first day we got there. They have a huge tapas menu and even if there is something you want that isn't listed the chances are they can do it for you anyway. Great prices and service as well. Perfect for some authentic Spanish food.
Paramos aquí una noche para tomar unas tapas y estamos muy contentos de haberlo hecho. A pesar de que casi era hora de cierre, el servicio y la calidad fueron impecables. Las tapas estaban absolutamente deliciosas y a un precio muy bueno, además el servicio era con una sonrisa. Definitivamente lo recomendaría.
As the title says, this is a little gem in Caleta, The food is truly authentic and fantastic. We could not believe the price we paid for a lovely evenings eating and a few drinks. Do give it a try especially if tapas are for you.
Me gustó mucho la apariencia de este restaurante en TripAdvisor, así que cuando fui a Caleta de Fuste, fui con mi familia a comer aquí, pero desafortunadamente ha cerrado.

Un lugar agradable para probar el desayuno, lo intenté 4 veces y cada vez fue excelente, recién cocinado y sabroso, servido por un personal muy amable.
